What We Believe

We are a Congregational Methodist Church that is
Christ-Centered, Biblically-Based, and People-Focused

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word, true and living, and the ultimate authority for our faith and daily life.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is God’s Son, our Savior, and the way to eternal life. Through Him, we find forgiveness, hope, and new life.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit guides, comforts, and empowers us to live for God and serves through us in our community and the world.

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, disciple, and serve together in love.

Our Mission
We believe God calls us to love others, share the Gospel, and make a difference in our community and beyond.

Our Faith shapes who we are, how we love,
and how we live every day.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell.

The third day he rose again from the dead.

He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.

From thence he will come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Amen.
